We are delighted to announce that Edinburgh Deaf Festival has been awarded multi-year funding from Creative Scotland. 

This vital support is a huge step forward for deaf-led arts in Scotland, allowing us to continue showcasing the incredible talent, creativity, and culture within our communities.

Since launching in 2022, Edinburgh Deaf Festival has become a platform for deaf artists, performers, and creatives, giving them the recognition and opportunities they deserve. This funding ensures that we can grow and develop as a festival, making the arts more inclusive and accessible for both deaf and hearing audiences alike.

Edinburgh Deaf Festival will be returning in August 2025

With only six months to go, our team is now working hard to shape this year’s festival, which will take place in August 2025. This means we have some big decisions to make about the programme and events, but we are excited about the challenge ahead! We are committed to delivering another fantastic festival experience that celebrates deaf culture, language and heritage while making a lasting impact on the arts in Scotland.
