Join EAF for an artist talk and event exploring Memory is a Museum, an ongoing research project by Trans Masc Studies, in which artist Ellis Jackson Kroese traces the histories of masculine-leaning gender diversity in Scotland. Through weaving together internet-based relics, local collaborations, and the generous contributions of the Scottish trans masculine community, the work questions whose stories are made visible.

Memory is a Museum begins to imagine what an archive devoted to trans masculine narratives could become. The resulting publications and artefacts are made to be touched, handled, and taken home — visitors become custodians; the museum expands; memory moves, lives, persists.

This event is in partnership with Edinburgh Art Festival.
