Join Deaf History Scotland for this interactive hands on workshop that will introduce the basic principles of archive care and management. We will discuss why archiving is important, who is represented in the archive and how to empower access to archives. A practical activity will help us think about our personal archive and why all our stories are valuable and part of history.

Participants should bring along a photograph, document (physical or digital) or small object that represents their own story. We will give you tips and resources to take home to help you preserve your own history.
