Panel Discussion: Making the Singer (Live Theatre)

Duration: 45 minutes – 1 hour
Age Suitability: All ages
Price: Pay what you can

Accessibility:

The panel of Deaf and hearing creatives involved in the stage production will discuss the collaborative process bringing the work from page to stage. How do you develop a bilingual show with music? How do we work collaboratively in a deaf and hearing creative space?

In this conversation we will share the lessons learned – challenges and how to creatively overcome them. This will be a fascinating insight into the making of a contemporary piece of theatre made in both BSL and Spoken English.

Panel: Cora Bissett (Director) and Benedetta Zanetti (Associate BSL Director)

Update: Understandably, due to the incredible success of The Singer and it’s accompanying commitments, actor Jamie Rea is no longer able to attend this event. We wish Jamie all the best!
