The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo – BSL Interpreted Performances
Duration: 1.5 hours
Price: £84.00
Accessibility:
For the first time ever, The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo will offer British Sign Language interpreted performances, giving Deaf audiences the opportunity to experience one of Scotland’s most iconic events with live BSL access.
Set against the spectacular backdrop of Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo brings together military bands, musicians, dancers and performers from around the world.
BSL interpreted performances
BSL interpretation will be available at the following performances:
- Saturday 8 August at 6.15pm, interpreted by Megan McArthur
- Friday 28 August at 6.15pm, interpreted by Nicolle Murdoch
Accessible seating
Tickets for the BSL interpreted performances are located in a designated area at the front of Section 11.
Section 11 faces Edinburgh Castle, and the allocated seating area has been selected to provide audience members with a clear view of both the performance and the BSL interpreter.
As this is normally a higher-priced seating area, tickets for the designated BSL area have been reduced to £84.00, bringing the price in line with the Tattoo’s other accessible seating areas.
