Volunteering at Edinburgh Deaf Festival
Volunteers play a huge role in making Edinburgh Deaf Festival possible. Each summer, our volunteer team helps us deliver an unforgettable programme of events — supporting with everything from front of house and ticketing, to stage set-up, customer support, and bar service.

What makes a great volunteer?
- A good communicator (we are looking for deaf and hearing volunteers, so BSL is preferred but not essential)
- A friendly and enthusiastic person
- Someone with a passion for live events
